Meet the Winners of sTARTUp Pitching 2025!

sTARTUp Pitching 2025 has once again brought together the most ambitious startups, investors, and ecosystem players to showcase groundbreaking ideas and fierce competition. This year, a record number of startups entered the race, competing for investments and recognition from leading investors. After intense pitching rounds, the winners have been announced, securing funding and strategic partnerships that will propel them to new heights.

SafePAS Takes the €200,000 investment from an EstBAN-led syndicate

SafePAS has developed lab-accurate, portable devices that provide instant, on-site testing results at a fraction of the cost of traditional lab tests. Their flagship products include Drug Hunter (for rapid drug detection) and SMAGRY (for soil nutrient analysis). With clients ranging from law enforcement to farmers, SafePAS is on track to revolutionize real-time field diagnostics.

Jana Budkovskaja, the EstBAN representative and lead investor of the sTARTUp Pitching syndicate, highlighted the startup’s strong foundation in deep tech and its impressive market validation.

According to Budkovskaja, SafePAS represents the kind of innovation that defines today’s startup ecosystem. "It’s a deep tech startup with strong traction and thorough market validation," she noted. From the outset, the team engaged closely with potential customers, continuously validating their product and exploring diverse verticals where their technology could be applied.

Budkovskaja emphasized that SafePAS's approach set them apart. "Their development process was deeply rooted in real-world collaboration, continuously adapting their technology based on practical feedback," she said. She highlighted the challenges deep tech startups face in securing investment. "They are a deep tech company, which makes it challenging for angel investors to invest, but they have secured public funding, additional investors, and VC backing," she explained.
According to Budkovskaja, scaling deep tech companies requires significant capital and international collaboration. "To make significant progress, deep tech companies require substantial capital. International collaboration is essential to bring such crucial technology to market, and SafePAS has already secured different investments to support their growth," she noted.

SafePAS also receives up to €200,000 DeepTech investment from Baltic Sandbox Ventures

Baltic Sandbox Ventures also saw tremendous potential in SafePAS. Sandra Goldbreich, General Partner at Baltic Sandbox Ventures, highlighted the transformative potential of SafePAS's technology. "SafePAS has pushed the edge by making near lab-grade analysis portable in the field," she said. Goldbreich also pointed out the broad impact of their innovation. "Their technology has the potential to disrupt industries from agriculture to medicine and law enforcement," she noted. She expressed confidence in the team behind the startup, adding, "We’re proud to back such an innovative team of female founders!"

Muun Health got €10,000 equity-free cash from Swedbank

Muun Health is developing a cutting-edge wearable biosensor for continuous female hormone monitoring. With infertility affecting 17.5% of adults worldwide, Muun Health aims to improve conception rates by providing real-time ovulation tracking via a smartphone app. Their subscription-based model targets women aged 28–40 struggling with fertility issues, offering AI-driven insights to optimize reproductive health.

Muun Health received the Swedbank award, recognized for its groundbreaking work in women's health. The jury was particularly impressed by the expertise of the team and their focus on an under-researched area. "What stood out the most was the team of strong experts and a solution addressing a vastly under-researched field like women’s health," said Triin Preem, Head of the Startup Segment at Swedbank.

With the growing demand for fertility treatments, Muun Health’s innovation brings both accuracy and convenience compared to existing solutions. "The demand for fertility treatment is growing, and Muun Health’s innovative approach is both more precise and more convenient than what is currently available," Preem added.
