Day Zero: Side Events

sTARTUp Day 2025 kicks off with a burst of over 30 side events on January 29. From Executive Day and Investor Day to the VIP Reception, there was a mix of workshops, tours, and networking bashes across Tartu. Attendees got to soak up knowledge, make connections, and have a blast while they’re at it!

Day 1-2: Main Festival Days

On January 30–31, we welcome you to the venue for the main festival days! It was a two-day power-packed experience for everyone, whether you’re a startup newbie, an investor, an executive, or just curious. Come get inspired by and learn from world-class speakers, network with startup-minded attendees, browse the buzzing demo area and skyrocket your skills through seminars. 

In 2025, our main focus is on supporting early-stage startups. More specifically, our stage program will focus on: 

Practical skills  – From fundraising to pitching to sales to cap table, experiences founders will share their first-hand experience and knowledge you need to build your business.

Founders' stories – Get inspired by and learn from the success and failures of founders from diverse founders. 

Marketing & Brand – Building a great product rarely suffices for market success. Let's dive into growth strategies and tactics from experienced pros in the business world.

Mental Health – Should we work 80h every week or prioritize our well-being? Can you build a successful startup without burning out? Let's discuss. 

Defence – This is a topic that we cannot and should not ignore in 2025. We're bringing on stage inspiring, talented speakers who work in the field to talk about the past, present and future of the defense sector. 

DeepTech – 500 DeepTech startups by 2030? Let's do it! There's a lot to unpack in the DeepTech field from space to spin-offs to AI to biotech and more. 

sTARTUp Pitching is the official pitching competition of sTARTUp Day where the finest startups get to showcase their brilliance on the main stage and compete for special prizes. And don’t forget the legendary sTARTUp Night afterparty – the perfect blend of business and fun, with music that hits the right notes.
