sTARTUp Day 2025 is just around the corner! Are you ready to experience the most startup-minded business festival of the year? To help you make the most of the event, we've put together this Survival Guide, covering everything from practical tips to recommendations on what to do after the festival.
sTARTUp Day will take place on January 29–31, 2025, at the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club (Ujula 4).

1. Pick Up Your Badge & Wristband Early

Your festival badge grants you access to sTARTUp Day 2025 events and side events. Before picking up your badge, make sure you have completed the ticket registration form.

You can collect your badge at the following locations on the 29th of January:
  • Investor Day – Lydia Hotel
  • Executive Day – Vilde ja Vine
  • VIP Reception - Vilde ja Vine (for investors, executives, and speakers)
  • Main Badge Pickup Point is the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club (Ujula 4)
All city buses in Tartu are free for festival badge holders during the event (January 29–31)!


2. Plan Your Personal Schedule

5. Be Environmentally Conscious

All food vendors at sTARTUp Day are equipped with the Ringo system, ensuring the use of reusable dishes. To stay hydrated, bring your own water bottle, as free drinking water is available throughout the venue. Additionally, we encourage all attendees to opt for public transport or walk, helping us keep Tartu green and sustainable!  And again - all city buses in Tartu are free for festival badge holders during the event!

6. Explore Southern Estonia

If you're already in Tartu, take the chance to explore the beautiful surroundings of Southern Estonia. Otepää & Kääriku offer a winter paradise for skiing enthusiasts and stunning landscapes for hiking. Mooste & Põlva County are known for their historic manors and peaceful forest trails, making them a perfect destination for both nature lovers and culture seekers. Setomaa charms visitors with its unique traditions, handmade crafts, and authentic local cuisine.
