“We’re excited to see that every year, more and more DeepTech, Defence and HealthTech startups make it to the TOP. This shows the growing strength of the sectors and we cannot wait to see what they achieve,” commented Thamasha Rasangi, the Head of sTARTUp Pitching 2025.

This year, the TOP 31 will pitch on the festival’s pitching stage on January 30. The TOP 5 will take the stage again at the grand finale on January 31 at the Starlight Stage.

The startups will be competing for: up to €200k investment from EstBAN, up to €200k investment from BSV, €140k investment from Opus11, €10k equity-free cash from Swedbank; €10k legal support from Sorainen; up to €100k of cloud services from OVHcloud's Startup Program; and pitch deck legal proofing and €6k legal support from Triniti.

The most popular themes this year include FoodTech, EdTech, and GreenTech. Many ideas are AI-based, covering different fields such as agriculture, cybersecurity, and health technology.
